Awakening with Intention: Spring Insights đźŚ¸

There’s something sacred about the shift from winter to spring. It doesn’t happen all at once. The changes are subtle. There is a softening of the earth. There is a slightly longer stretch of light. The first brave buds are pushing through the soil.

And somewhere inside us, we feel it too.

After months of introversion, stillness, or even emotional hibernation, we start to stir. Maybe not all at once. Maybe not with clarity. But we begin.  This, I believe, is the season of awakening.

In nature, spring is not a performance. It’s not rushed. It doesn’t force anything into bloom. It unfolds gently, in its own time, in its own rhythm.

We’re invited to do the same.

🌱 Awakening Isn’t Always Visible

Like seeds in the soil, much of our growth happens underground.
Unseen. Quiet. Slow.

There are times we feel stuck or unsure, even as something deeper in us is shifting. In those moments, it’s easy to doubt progress. To believe we’re not doing enough.
But the truth is: you can be growing even when you feel still.

As Thich Nhat Hanh so wisely said,

“No mud, no lotus.”

Our blooming often begins in the messiest, murkiest places—the places we’d rather avoid. Yet from there, something beautiful and strong can rise.

🌊 Lessons from the Ocean and the Earth

When I walk by the ocean in early spring, I feel this truth in my bones.
The waves don’t rush. The tide doesn’t judge itself. It simply flows.
The sky doesn’t apologize for being clouded one moment and clear the next.

What if we offered ourselves the same grace?

What if this season wasn’t about pushing ourselves to be more—but about returning to who we are, gently?

🌸 A Gentle Invitation

This spring, I invite you to join me in awakening with intention. Not through hustle or pressure, but through softness, slowness, and small acts of presence.

Here are a few gentle ways to embrace your own season of awakening:

  • 🌞 Start your morning with silence or breath before the noise of the world enters
  • 🌿 Notice one sign of new life each day—inside you or in nature
  • ✍️ Journal what feels ready to emerge or bloom in your life
  • 🌊 Walk beside water (any body of water or even a fountain) and reflect on how you, too, move in waves

You are allowed to begin again.  You are allowed to unfold in your own timing.
And even if you can’t see it yet—  you are blooming.
